Viking Satcom LLC announced today that it acquired the ADL (Antenna Downlink) Feed product line.

The ADL product line was established in 1979.  It consists of multiple Commercial Satellite Feed Systems in the C and Ku band Frequency ranges.  They are used for Domestic and International applications to receive TVRO and other satellite transmissions. In 2004, ADL was purchased by Patriot Antenna and had remained one of their product offerings until the plant closed in 2010.

Mr. Steve Pokornicki, Vice President of Viking Satcom, commented “The ADL product line has an excellent reputation in the commercial satellite industry and will be a welcomed addition to our offerings. Using and refining many of the feed production capabilities will be key in delivering quality cost effective feed systems.”

Viking Satcom will focus on the ADL Ku band and C band Circular Feed systems. The acquisition will compliment Viking’s already extensive motorized and non-motorized Feed catalog.  Contact Viking to learn more.
